Introduction to the Cottages
You'll find a high standard of accommodation at Ivy Court. The cottages are furnished and decorated in country style. Kitchens are well equipped with full size cookers, refrigerators and microwave ovens. There is a full range of matching crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils, saucepans, oven-ware, automatic kettle, iron and ironing board. Unless you are travelling from overseas you should bring your own towels, tea towels and soaps.
Beds are made up ready with full bed linen and duvets. All rooms have fitted carpets except the kitchens which are tiled. Living rooms have comfortable seating and colour television. There is a useful folder of information and a selection of guide books. Each cottage has full heating and a radiant fire in the living room (log burners in Knap and Corner Cottages), so the cottages are cosy and comfortable throughout the year. Please refer to
the accommodation summary for details of heating in each property.
Everything is carefully prepared for your arrival. The exacting standards of the Wales Tourist Board's annual grading inspection assures visitors that facilities, equipment and upkeep are rigorously maintained.
A service room contains automatic coin-operated washing machines, tumble driers and a deep freeze (The Roses and Rafters have their own washing machine and freezer). There is a telephone kiosk and deliveries of milk are made to Ivy Court.
The swimming pool is open from Easter until the end of October.
